Sometimes, the most rewarding work we can do is the kind of work that helps make a difference. Our work with 38 Degrees, one of the UK's biggest campaigning communities, is that kind of work.
We started working with them through chance, but off the back our interest in their commitment to getting people involved in politics in the widest sense we were asked to help them create ad-hoc campaign work. The Save Our Forests campaign
was their single biggest campaign to date and we helped in its success.
We created a wide range of print collateral including a range of advertising for the national press which was used to raise the campaigns profile amongst non-members and the general public, the creation of campaign leaflets, bumper stickers, petition sheets and materials for members to download, print out and use (like the For Sale tree tickets which went up across the UK in forests under threat).
On top of this we created a simple identity that we could use across all the media we used to give it a recognisable central image and colour scheme. All of this work was created under huge time constraints, having to react quickly as the campaign developed, matured and gained national momentum. The end result speaks for its self - the forests of the UK were saved, government changed it's mind and we played a very tiny, part in helping make it happen.
We think that's rewarding in anyones book.
