2014 was the year we as a nation remembered the impact of war with the centenary of the beginning of the First World War. It brought a renewed focus to, not only the cost of war in terms of human life but also how we look after those who have fought in conflicts and survived.
Studio Rokit was asked by the Royal British Legion (who we have been working with for some time) to help raise the issue of socialcare for ex service personnel in a short run of social media infographics (designed for posting to both their twitter feed and their facebook page). The Royal British Legion social media infographics focus on the unfairness in care experienced by many simply because of their postcode and how few ex-service personnel get to keep their injury compensation in full.
The numbers are pretty staggering.
The brief was pretty simple, present the facts as clearly as possible in line with their new corp style guide. That’s what we did.
The Royal British Legion social media infographics work was preceded at the end of last year with a bigger graphic that was handed out at their annual meeting showing the results from their 2014 Household Survey. This survey brought into focus the stark difference in lifestyles ex-service personal and their families experience when compared to average members of the general public.
