Sam’s Friends Beer Festival 2013 has a new supporter – StudioROKIT is supporting Leicester Samaritans by sponsoring a keg of one of the 30 or so drinks on offer over the 3 days of the festival.
If you’re a Leicester local and you like a tipple or just want to support an essential service that really does make a huge difference to people from all backgrounds then come on down, Sam’s Friends Beer Festival is just what the doctor ordered. There will be the usual real beers and ales, ciders, perry and an ‘experimental’ cocktail bar (that alone probably makes it worthwhile visiting). And on top of all the tasty drinks on offer there’s live music and great food.
CIDERS : Gwynt y ddraig (Wind of the Dragon) Black Dragon, Westcroft Janet’s Jungle Juice, Charnwood Appley Av’ Another and Megablend.
PERRIES : Gwynt y ddraig Two Trees Perry, Olivers Medium
And the best bit > ALL BEERS, CIDERS AND PERRIES ARE AVAILABLE TO TAKE AWAY IN TWO-PINT CARTONS!
And because this is a proper beer festival, stocks are limited, once they’re gone they’re gone. Bee a shame to mis out on that truly amazing pint by turning up just as someone has just bought it.
Live Music – Oh, yes!
Friday evening – the superb singer/guitarist, Phil Riley!!
Saturday afternoon – the colourful and joyful choir, Leicestershire Rainbow Voices!!
Saturday evening – from supercool to superhot, Dave Plummer, saxophonist!!
